11:30 am - 1:00 pm Master Class: Vent Analysis
In most of the plants, the FGRU is installed according to the capacity of normal flaring flow rate. But is the FGRU capacity efficient?
Usually, the source of most of the flaring gas is inefficient operations, such as leaking valves, PSV, or venting of gas. Therefore, when companies plan to install the FGRU they would first need to perform a vent analysis in order to set the capacity of the FGRU. This method will greatly reduce the capacity of FGRU and its investment cost.
This master class will provide a detail method for Vent analysis. The presenter will highlight case study examples of efficient vent analysis that have helped in installation of FGRUs and therefore reducing flaring.
