Umar Aboki is an experienced process engineer specializing in energy management and process optimization of LNG plants, with over 10 years’ experience working in the Oil & Gas industry with roles in Operations, Technology, and Health Safety & Environment (HSE). Currently LNG Operations Engineer in Shell involved in the provision of technical advice and support to Shell JV LNG plants in the Asia-Pacific region, in areas of production optimization and flare management. Umar has been involved in various international LNG conferences and is currently responsible for organizing the annual global Shell OMEM LNG conference, aimed at improving operational excellence in Shell’s global portfolio of LNG plants.
